First Day at the Park '09

Here are a few pics of AJ at the park for the first time this year. It was an unseasonably warm day for March. There are just days when AJ and I have to get out of the house and have some space. I'm sure all you mommies out there know exactly what I'm talking about. I love being an "at home mommy" but sometimes...we get on each others nerves! We just have to get out and regroup! LOL.
It was a great day. A little on the cool side but the air was fresh and it felt great to get outside after a brutally cold winter. It even warmed up for a while that AJ actually took his coat off. Then the wind picked back up and the jacket went back on.
The wind here is amazing. We warned those that moved here from MD and they didn't believe us until they experienced it themselves. It's crazy. Goes right to the bone. Miserable at times.








LOOK at him on the big boy swing!!!!!! Last year my little monster couldn't even climb the steps to the play area he was so little. This year, he owns those steps! Not a problem. Climbs right up the biggest slide without any hesitation. The only problem that arose was when I got on the teeter totter with him. Blech, AJ's little brother promply let me know that the motion of the sea-saw was NOT appreciated. We had to leave shortly after that for fear of ralphing all over the play equipment. AJ wasn't happy, the baby in the belly wasn't happy, and mommy drove home green to the gills! All in all, a super day ;0)
