It has begun!!!!!
Well, ladies and gents, it has begun. The building of our home has finally begun!!! I drove by the lot today after a meeting with my boss at work and my belly started getting butterflies the closer I got. There is a big hole where the basement is going to go!!!!! They finally broke ground. I really didn't think I'd get this excited over a big pile of dirt but I am giddy with excitement right now. Within the next 60-90 days we will have our new home. A new slate for me to start painting, decorating and making our home. Whew, I didn't think we'd ever get here. I guess now all we need to do is sell the house we're in now and we'll be good to go. I will give this to God, I will give this to God, I will give this to God. Can you guys tell I'm really working on my control issues??? :0) Keep us in your prayers!! Our new house is starting to go up!!!!! Jason's going to run by there tonight so I will have him take pics and I'll start my house diary tonight!! Love you guys!

Congrats! I'm jealous because you'll have something I'll never have... a basement! They're not possible in Florida. (Actually, when I tell people they can't build basements in Florida, my husband always chimes in, "sure they can... they're called swimming pools!) When I was growing up in Colorado, our basement was kid heaven. I wish we could provide something like that for our kids. AJ will be so spoiled!
We're planning on finishing off the basement and creating a space to put a big screen tv and maybe a pool table or something. It will have a full bath as well as a space for AJ too. It's even got a side part that can be totally seperate for storage. I can't wait. That's going to be one of our longer projects because it's just so big. We've also got to get the fence and the deck up pretty quickly d/t the baby and the dog. I can't wait though. I'm so excited!!!!
I'm finally catching up on everyone! What a week! I am SO glad that your new home is on the way. How much fun will it be to decorate. Post some pictures soon
